About the Event: Wattlecorp Cybersecurity Labs, together with Cyberpark, Calicut, organized International Women in Cyber Day to honor women’s contribution and achievements in Cybersecurity on September 01, 2026. International Women in Cyber Day is conducted annually on September 1 to mark women’s efforts, contributions, and achievements in the field of Cybersecurity.
Dignitaries Present at the Event
Mr. Abdul Majeed, Director of Infinite Open-Source Solutions (IOSS), who inaugurated the event, his presence marking the need to initiate women’s participation and professional growth in cybersecurity.

Ms. Aysha Shafna, penetration tester at Wattlecorp Cybersecurity Labs, who spoke about the need to empower women in cybersecurity. Her speech lay special emphasis on the need to encourage women and aspiring cybersecurity professionals to develop inherent capabilities in securing the ever-evolving digital economy, an era that demands strong cybersecurity skills.
Mr. Karthik Kalathil, CTO and Director of Wattlecorp Cybersecurity Labs, who deliverered the Vote of Thanks to the dignitaries and participants at the event.
